Location is not available
G Marker works without location access, but cannot centre the map on you or update a Mark to your current position. Open iPhone Settings → Apps → G Marker → Location and choose While Using the App. Turn on Precise Location for the most accurate coordinates.
Camera, video or photo access
Open iPhone Settings → Apps → G Marker and allow Camera, Microphone and Photos as needed. The microphone is used only when you record video with sound. You can continue using Marks without granting media access.
Search or address is missing
Place search and address lookup use Apple Maps and require an internet connection. Your saved Marks remain on your device. You can still enter place details manually when a result is incomplete.
Share or import a Mark
A shared Mark can include an image and an import link. The link carries the Mark’s selected place details and coordinates so another G Marker user can add a copy to their own map. Photos, videos and private notes are not included.
Choose a navigation app
When you first navigate, choose Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze from the available apps on your iPhone. To change your choice later, open G Marker Settings and update the navigation app.
Free limit and G Marker Plus
The free version supports up to 30 Marks. Plus unlocks additional Marks through monthly, annual or eligible lifetime access. If a subscription ends, existing Marks stay visible, but you cannot add or import beyond the free limit.
Restore a purchase
Make sure the iPhone is signed in to the Apple Account used for the purchase, then open G Marker Settings → G Marker Plus and tap Restore Purchases. Billing and refunds are handled by Apple.
Delete local information
Delete a Mark from its Mark card to remove it and its attached media. G Marker currently has no account or cloud sync, so removing the app also removes its local data, subject to your iPhone and backup settings.
